Ice cream at Boehringer's Drive-In in Lancaster County
After an afternoon of driving the back roads of Pennsylvania's Amish country, I was ready for a break. I relaxed with a couple of scoops of ice cream at Boehringer's Drive-In. Read my full review of the ice cream at Boehringer's Drive-In in Lancaster Country after the break.

Boehringer's Drive-In is the perfect place to stop and relax after a busy day of touring the Amish country. There's hamburgers and other diner fare, plenty of picnic benches, and a creek for the kids to splash around in. And there's ice cream. Lots of it. Boehringer's ice cream comes in plenty of flavors, and it's the kind of dense, flavorful ice cream that you can't get in the supermarket.

I had two scoops: coffee and butter pecan. Both were creamy, fresh, and delicious.

TIP: It's cash only, and it's closed on Monday. And thanks for the tip from Berks County Eats that Boehringer's is open only from mid-March through September.
