We enjoyed breakfast in Eugene, Oregon at Off The Waffle. Off The Waffle serves kicked-up Belgian waffles called Liège (LEE-AGE) which are richer and sweeter than a typical Belgian waffle. See more pictures and read my full review of Off The Waffle in Eugene after the break.

Off The Waffle is located right in downtown Eugene and kitty-corner to Voodoo Doughnut Tres. It was opened a few years ago by a team of brothers looking to re-create the Liège waffles of their youth in Belgium. Then they top them off with fruit and serve them hot to your table. You don't need any syrup with these waffles!

I found Off The Waffle on Urbanspoon's list of cheap eats in Eugene. These waffles are reasonably priced, but they don't taste cheap.

Fruit Party
Red and green apples with banana and Chantilly cream.

Fab Flora
The daily special.
Poached pear, walnuts, goat cheese, honey drizzle, and topped with basil and lavender salt.
Delicious!!
