After tasting the brie at Blue Heron French Cheese Company, we continued up the highway to the Tillamook Cheese Factory. Read my full review with pictures of this iconic Oregon visitor's spot after the break.

The Tillamook Cheese Factory is a collective of dairy farmers and has been making cheddar and other cheeses since 1909.

There are videos and exhibits along the two-story self-guided tour.

Downstairs is a full gift shop, with cheeses and ice cream. There is a also a deli making sandwiches with plenty of indoor seating.

And don't miss the free cheese samples -- there are at least six different cheeses to try, and they are all delicious.
