I'm making my through the Green Chile Cheeseburger trail in New Mexico. During my research, I stumbled upon Lucky Boy Chinese Food & Hamburgers in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Lucky Boy makes a New Mexico version of the St. Paul sandwich I recently had in St. Louis. Find out how it tasted and see more pictures after the jump.

A St. Paul sandwich is egg foo yung (fried egg and bean sprouts) in a sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo. And at Lucky Boy, they kick up the St. Paul by adding a hamburger patty, green chiles, and American cheese. Lucky Boy also uses a hamburger bun instead of white bread.

So how is it? Delicious! If you like the St. Paul sandwich (and everyone likes it who has tried it) and you like green chile cheeseburgers, you are going to love this sandwich.

And the people running the place are really nice. It's a bargain, too. Be sure to try this out when you are in Albuquerque.
