St. Roch Market opened recently, and is home to many diverse places to eat, from BBQ and Mexican to coffee and Haitian. There's plenty of indoor seating, and a patio out front. It's in the Marigny area, between the French Quarter and Bywater. St. Roch Market provides a space for many food vendors to share a common kitchen, giving them a chance to start a business where they might not otherwise be able to. It's a great way to enjoy a diversity of choices in a single vibrant space.

St. Roch is near our vacation house, so we've been stopping by each day for coffee and smoothies. Today we tried the Skinny Green (kale, pineapple, mango, banana, and almond milk) which I liked a lot. It reminded me of the veggie smoothies at Jiggle Berry in Amarillo.

We also tried the Peaches and Cream (peaches, coconut cream, vanilla, raw agave, and almond milk). It's also fresh and tasty.

This is a great spot to have a fresh drink, sit down, and relax. The drink is brought to your seat as you take in the environment and spots for future meals! Another worthy not is the ultra clean restroom available.
