I'm still on the Green Chile Cheeseburger trail in New Mexico. And today, I got to try one of the 2016 USA Today Top 10 Green Chile Cheeseburgers at Santa Fe Bite in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Find out how it tasted and see more pictures after the jump.

Bobcat Bite in Santa Fe (the old location of Santa Fe Bite)

A few years ago, the owners of the Bobcat Bite moved into Old Town Santa Fe and changed the name to Santa Fe Bite. The old Bobcat Bite was a little adobe shack and the new digs are an upscale restaurant worthy of the Santa Fe tourist scene. You might remember Bobcat Bite as it was seen in the Hamburger America book and TV show with George Motz.

         

It's no surprise this burger is on the top 10 list! The chuck and sirloin patty is bigger than most, served on a brioche bun, and the green chiles are a little zippier than the average green chile cheeseburger. And there's plenty of green chiles. The burger is cooked to order so you can have it any way you want.
