Back to the big steak breakfast at Big Texan Steak Ranch in Amarillo, Texas

I've had dinner at the Big Texan before, but today I arrived in the morning and had breakfast. Full disclosure: I've also had the breakfast before, too. This ain't my first time here by any means.

There's also a breakfast buffet, but I was hankering for steak and eggs so I stuck with that. I ordered the T-bone rare and three eggs over easy, and a few minutes later it was sitting on the table at my booth.

It's not just the steaks that are big, either. Take a look at the size of my coffee pot!

BTW, if you're feeling brave (and really hungry) you can try the free six pound steak dinner. The deal is that you have to eat it in under an hour, along with a salad and fixings. And you have to sit on stage in the middle of the restaurant while everyone cheers you on. If you don't finish your meal, you gotta pay. That's how they do it in Texas, son.

There's a huge gift shop and arcade too.

So remember -- if you're passing through Amarillo, be sure to stop in at the Big Texan Steak Ranch.
