Buffalo tofu salad at Sneaky Pickle in New Orleans Bywater neighborhood |
Bywater in New Orleans is enjoying a post-Katrina resurgence with new shops and restaurants along with many home renovations. It's an easy walk to the French Quarter, too. Read my full review with more pictures of Sneaky Pickle after the jump.
With a focus on local organic ingredients, there's always something new on the menu at Sneaky Pickle. There's also a large selection of ciders, beer, and wine. But I was here to eat, so I chose the Buffalo tofu salad which is spicy tofu with grilled cauliflower over greens with sweet onions. The combination of sweet and spicy works really well, and this makes for an excellent lunch salad.
There's plenty of picnic tables outside, and lots of seating (and artwork) inside.
